Military personnel Specials at Hampton Inn & Suites

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

There is nothing as praiseworthy and notable as serving your country in the US, an opportunity that further gives you lots of interesting life experiences you will remain with for the rest of your life, regardless of whether you opt to remain in the military or not. When you are a member of the armed services, it means that you will be travelling a lot, perhaps from base to base, or separately on occasion — it also therefore means that you will need a place to stay overnight, and no other place recognizes the distinctive contribution that the military personnel plays than the Hampton Inn & Suites

You will be expected to have your valid government-issued identification at the reception desk for you to get a special discount for military personnel. Once you are identified as military personnel, you, and/or your family will get special discount in the Hampton Inn room you will be staying. While there are no extra special services for military personnel hotel guests, you can always count on the same professional warm welcome as everyone else staying at the hotel, and can equally enjoy the same amenities as others, with the added advantage that you are paying less for all what you are getting.

Some of these amenities include a complementary hot breakfast, extra soft bed, free high speed internet connection every location within the hotel (individual rooms and the lobby inclusive) and of course the 1005 Satisfaction Guarantee. Hampton Inn and Suites has both regular rooms as well as suites, and apart from the new Hampton Boutique line, you will be in a limited-service hotel with no shops or restaurants within the hotel building, and notably there will be no concierge services.

Thus, if you are a service man or women travelling across the country, you can rest assured that the Hampton Inn chain of Hotels appreciates the role you play on behalf of Americans, and is always more than willing to extend a special rate for a clean, warm, and pleasant room at any of the many Hampton Inns and Suites spread across the country.

Wind Sports | The differences world wide

Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010

When the summer comes many people prefer to go on a vacation or just stay in their homes and relax. However there are many people that prefer to spend their time practicing various water sports and we wouldn’t be saying a lie if we say that the wind surfing sport is maybe the most popular. Of course as you can say by the name this sport is highly similar to surfing, but there are some differences. There are many fans of wind surfing and kiteboarding around the world and many of them create custom tricks and techniques which later become an official part of this extreme sport.

As any other sport, you will also need some special gear for this one. The main ones are a kite and a board which are connected through a special mechanism which is very durable and strong. This doesn’t allow break downs and eventual crashes. As in surfing, in wind surfing you can also find a lot of tricks and special moves which can be performed for an adrenaline boost or just for the amusement of the crowd. It is a very spectacular sport and this is one of the main reasons why it is so famous. However the experience and skills needed to be able to perform such tricks is huge and not many people can do it properly.

Although there are so many variants of wind surfing around the world it is fair to say that they don’t differ from each other so much and are pretty similar. In most cases different wind surfing cultures create the so called separate techniques and rules which tend to be an entirely new sport. The big plus of wind surfing is that it gives the surfers the opportunity to develop speeds much higher than the ones that can usually be achieved. This is one of the reasons why many people prefer wind surfing over the other sports practiced on water.

The biggest minus of wind surfing is the need of wind. Without it the sport can’t be practiced and this is why a lot of people prefer other sports over wind surfing. Most of the people practicing water sports prefer a sport that can be practiced always and you don’t need any special conditions in order to be able to practice. Meaningless of the minuses and pluses which the sport has it is absolutely mandatory to know that wind surfing around the world is very popular and this is one of the leading water sports when it comes to attractiveness.
